Nigerians pray against bandit, but it is so disheartening to see that in less than 30 minutes, Nigerian bandits tiktok giveaway N100 million. The people watching the Tiktok live are Nigerians praying for freedom, and it is same Nigerians that are dropping account details for the Nigerian bandits tiktok giveaway.
It has come to a point where bandits are confident enough to do Titok live and audacious enough to stay for as long as over 30 minutes without any threat from the Nigerian government against them.
The Nigerian bandit tiktok giveaway were money made from the ransom they charged the poor masses after abducting their loved ones. The security agencies that are supposed to arrest these men watched the same Nigerian bandits do TikTok giveaway and the rest of Nigeria was watching. And did nothing.
Nigerian Bandits TikTok Activities Are Now a National Security Emergency Says the Senate
The Senate on Thursday June 11 declared Nigerian bandits Tiktok giveaway as a national security emergency. The senate urged security agencies to intensify efforts to track and apprehend bandits and terrorists who openly display their activities on social media platforms.
This is because bandits are using social media for propaganda, recruitment, and psychological warfare. They are also glorifying crime and attracting desperate followers with cash giveaways.
Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan representing Kogi Central proposed a prayer mandating the Nigerian Police Force, National Cybercrime Centre, and other relevant security agencies to monitor, track, and arrest criminals who openly operate on social media.
She said bandits and terrorists had become increasingly emboldened using social media platforms to showcase their activities with emphasis on how they distributed N100 million in 30 minutes.
The N100 Million TikTok Giveaway That Made Nigeria Stop and Stare
This was what initiated the topic Nigerian bandit giveaway. In early June, suspected bandits/terrorists went live on TikTok and carried out a very public cash giveaway using money believed to be from ransom payments.
They were showing off huge stacks of naira notes during the Tiktok live. Thereafter, they asked viewers to drop their bank account numbers in the comments to receive money.
Unfortunately, thousands of desperate Nigerians reportedly participated and flooded the comment section with their account details. Under 30 minutes, it was reported that the bandits distributed approximately N100 million.
One of the participants of the Nigerian bandit TikTok giveaway known as Scope2dTee later posted a crying video where he begged Nigerians for help as he is being threatened by the bandits for a ransom of N100 million after receiving N100 thousand in the TikTok live.

Why Can Nigeria Not Simply Arrest These People If They Are on TikTok
Natasha questioned the inability of security agencies to exploit such digital footprints, insisting that modern policing must adapt to the realities of online visibility. Senator Natasha said, “I wonder why the Cybercrime Unit and the Police Force generally cannot track these activities and apprehend them since they are on social media. Therefore, I urge the Nigerian Police Force National Cybercrime Centre to track and arrest these individuals.”
However, it is assumed that the operation of these terrorists is more political than the masses think. Some bandits have political and community protection. Sometimes they even pay local informants who alert them when security forces are approaching.
Final Thoughts Regarding Nigerian Bandits TikTok Giveaway
The issue of Nigerian bandits TikTok giveaway actually started in the senate when a senator raised concerns regarding the insecurity crisis in Kogi West.
There have been series of attacks there as communities across the Bunu and Kupa axis had become heavily targeted forcing residents in places such as Aiyetoro Kiri and Odai to flee their homes
Nigerian bandits are doing cash giveaways on TikTok with money they took from communities through violence. They are livestreaming it. Their faces are visible. Their locations are traceable. And yet no arrests have been made. That is not a technology problem. That is not a legal problem. That is a will problem.
